My recent visit to the Philippines

Due to lack of Internet access, I could not blog as it happened, so I'll be writing up a report on my birding mornings at a few sites I visited during the 2 weeks my family and I spent in the Philippines between 15th and 31st May.

I did a few mornings on a 3 day trip to Baguio, 2 visits to La Mesa Eco Park and 2 trips to Freedom Island, which produced a lowish number of species, but 12 lifers, with some amazing views of Ashy Ground Thrush, Red-bellied and Hooded Pitta at La Mesa.
